Wedding Photography Tips: Gramercy Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Last night I attended an event at the Gramercy Mansion in Stevenson, Maryland. What a gorgeous venue! I didn't participate in the garden tours because it was raining but I could see from inside it is just amazing. The building is immaculate (something I truly loved was the front door – huge and half of it was a solid piece of glass) and the interior design is just as impressive (in fact I learned that everything inside is for sale - so if you want something as a keepsake, there you go!) (Image to left is borrowed from the Gramercy Mansion website.)

Here is an excerpt from their website’s home page:

“Plan a romantic getaway, corporate retreat or seminar, wedding, party or special celebration at Gramercy Mansion B&B and the Carriage House at Gramercy. Just minutes from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, museums, art galleries and fine dining and an hour from Washington D.C., the secluded location is even more treasured for its convenience!

Elegant bed and breakfast rooms and suites feature antiques and artwork, whirlpool tubs and fireplaces. Guests enjoy a bountiful breakfast served from a menu each morning, featuring culinary herbs from Koinonia Farm, Maryland’s oldest certified organic farm located on the property.

Gramercy’s extensive landscaped gardens set the scene for romantic wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Mansion and grounds as well as a charming Carriage House may be reserved for corporate and private events year round.”

I would just love to shoot an event here and I’m looking forward to it! ;-)
